EMIL A. TANGHETTI, M.D.
Dr. Tanghetti was born and raised in Sacramento. He attended U.C. Davis where he excelled in his studies and received early admission to UCLA School of Medicine after only 3 years of undergraduate studies. After completion of his medical studies and a 1-year pathology fellowship, Dr. Tanghetti graduated first in his class receiving the Dean Warren medal for academic excellence. After completing an Internal Medicine residency at Stanford School of Medicine, he was accepted to Harvard Medical School's Dermatology program where he completed his training and later finished a fellowship in photo-medicine at the Wellman labs of Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Tanghetti is board certified and a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology. He is currently listed in "Best Doctors in America"- Pacific region and recognized as a "Top Doc" by Sacramento Magazine. Dr. Tanghetti is a clinical professor of Dermatology at U.C. Davis and a fellow in the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
ESPERANZA DEVERS, R.N.
Esperanza Devers attended Chico State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in nursing and her RN license. She worked as a home health nurse for eight and a half years and has been working as a laser nurse since January 2004. She has experience with various laser systems including laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, and laser photo-rejuvenation treatments.
SHEA ALVARADO, R.N.
Shea Alvarado has been a Dermatology and Laser nurse since June of 2000. She studied nursing at San Francisco State University which is where she received her Bachelors of Science in nursing and her RN license. She did most of her laser training at the Berman Skin Institute in Palo Alto California. Shea has had extensive training over the last few years in several laser systems and have specialized in laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal.
CAROLYN HAMANN
PRACTICE MANAGER
Carolyn has been the Practice Manager for the Center for Dermatology and Laser Surgery since July 2000. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human biology from California State University, Sacramento. She has worked in the medical field for 18 years because she enjoys helping patients and especially enjoys working with patients on clinical studies.

Kathi is our enthusiastic and knowledgeable Esthetician and Lead for The Skin Corner. She has been with Dr. Tanghetti since April 2003, providing top-of-the line skin care services and education for our patients. Her passion for patient care, health and fitness are an excellent compliment to our practice.

Brynn has been a member of the Skin Corner team since February 2007. She has been a practicing Esthetician for over two years. She finds her position as a Product Specialist and Esthetician very rewarding. Brynn enjoys getting to know each patient and working with them to achieve their skin improvement goals. Working with this leading dermatologist provides her with the opportunity to treat patients with medically directed products and services.
VICKI ROWDEN

Vicki provides patient education and has been with the Center for Dermatology since June 1999. With equal amounts of passion for customer service and for medicine, she has 16 years experience working for physicians in pediatrics, neurology, neurosurgery, plastic surgery and dermatology.

Celina together with Srina, Lauren, Regan, Michelle, and Mari who provide excellent customer service make up our friendly and helpful staff. You will get top quality care and service that will keep you coming back.

Dr. Tanghettis' medical assistants make up a cohesive team of intelligent and compassionate individuals. They work diligently to assure that you receive the best possible care in a timely fashion. Daily responsibilities include: rooming patients, setting up/assisting procedures, educating patients on various approaches to treatment, and maintaining a positive atmosphere around the office.
